Tradition meets technology

MERCOOL's roots were founded in 1870 by Mr. Geheimrat Hieronymus Merkel, at the original site in Suhl, Germany. During the industrial revolution, the company started manufacturing metalworking fluids, primarily for metal removal operations, with an initial start up of 18 employees. Over time our technology has evolved. Our quality has always remained the same.
